I solve problems through design

“The most valuable resource in the 21st century is not capital but highly educated and skilled people who can extract the greatest gains from technology.”

I received a BFA from Parsons the New School for Design in New York in 2015. Since then, with the passion to learn, I have continued to work to expand my domain of expertise by studying UI/UX with Springboard and currently pursuing a technical skill set with Georgia Tech to become a full stack web developer. Ideally, I would like to be capable of fully understanding and internalizing the design process from start to finish.

My most recent role as an Interaction Designer at a startup creative technology company allowed me to enhance my ability to reason, create, and design. As an experience designer, I always think of my users first as their experiences are so crucial in future design and development possibilities. I try to keep up to date with current trends and interests of global users by randomly downloading apps in different categories to see how it competes with others or to simply see what delights other users as a user.

The portfolio shows that I have past experience in jobs that involve design thinking, prototyping at different stages, developing, and implementing them. Whether it be in a group or independent setting, I have no problem communicating and articulating design solutions as well as giving and receiving constructive criticism.
